Reedley College finished in second place in the latest Big 8 Conference womens golf tournament on Thursday in Napa.

The Tigers' shot their best team score of the year and finished only four shots behind first place Modesto.

Reedley's Maddie Reed took medalist honors with a 71. Keahana Castillo was next with an 81, followed by Meghan Hansen with an 86 and Gabrielle Jasso with a 92.

Melanie Davila shot a non-scoring 97.

Reedley is scheduled to travel to Woodland on Oct. 4 for the fourth conference tournament before hosting the next conference tournament on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Ridge Creek course in Dinuba.
