Women's Golf Wraps Up Regular Season With Another Victory

Make it 15 of 16 tournament wins and a perfect 35-0 record for the 2019 Reedley College women's golf team.

Head Coach Scott Stark's Tigers finished the regular season on Oct. 29 in a Big 8 Conference tournament at the Spring Creek Country Club in Ripon with an 11-stroke victory over second-place Modesto Junior College.

Led by Serena DiMauro's individual medalist round of 79., the Tigers finished with a team score of 339 while MJC had a 350. Monica Yu was next with an 83, Serena Garcia with an 88 and Mya Chao with an 89. Alyssa Bendure shot a non-scoring 90 while McKenzie Quinn recorded a non-scoring 99.

"We captured all 10 Big 8 Conference tournaments in 2019," said Coach Stark. "Monica Yu was the Conference Most Valuable Player. Serena DiMauro, Alyssa Bendure, and Mya Chao were selected first-team All-Big 8!"

Reedley College is the host team for Monday's NorCal Championships at Ridge Creek GC in Dinuba. Tee times begin at 8 am.
