Tigers Win CVC Tournament # 11!

On a warm, sunny but very comfortable afternoon in the Central Valley, the Tigers came out and played a solid round of team golf at Sunnyside Country Club for C.V.C. Tournament #11, the next to last tournament for the regular season.  Reedley posted a team score of 346, winning the tournament by 5 shots over Fresno City College.  Leading the way was Freshman Maddie Caesar, who shot a very solid round of 81, which tied for medalist honors on the afternoon!!  Serena DiMauro posted a round of 83. Lauren Costa was the next counting score for the Tigers, as she shot a round of 89.  Carley Lindlahr rounded out the scoring with a 93 for the Tigers on the day.  The Tigers four scores were in the top 10 overall for the tournament and enabled them to solidify their top finish in the Central Valley Conference and advance to the Post Season as a team for the 5th time in school history.  The Tigers now have 43 points in the conference standings and have an overall record of 21-1 in the C.V.C.  The next tournament ahead for the Tigers will be the final tournament of the regular season and will be played at Belmont Country Club in southeast Fresno. The Tigers will be the host school for this final neutral tournament, scheduled to tee off at 1:00.
