It was a busy week of tennis for the Reedley College men's and women's tennis teams.

The men finished the week Saturday with an 8-1 win over Cosumnes River on the Reedley courts.

Reedley swept the six singles matches with wins by Jared Hang, Seth Herrera, Nico Ilie, Aaron Macagba, Dawson Javanx, and Julian Barragan. Reedley also had doubles wins from Herrera-Hang and Javanx and Barragan.

Reedley dropped an 8-1 decision to Modesto on March 3 leaving the Tigers with a 2-1 Big 8 Conference record and an overall mark of 4-2.

The men face Grossmont at Fresno City College Saturday at 1:30 pm before hosting Folsom Lake on Monday, March 16 at noon.

The Tiger women improved to 5-2 in conference play with 5-4 wins over Sacramento City on Friday and Cosumnes River on Saturday.

Reedley won four singles matches, getting wins from Sofia Salinas, Emma Sinclair, Jalyn Valdez and Samantha Mendoza and an 8-1 doubles win from the team of Sinclair and Valdez.

Reedley travels to Porterville Friday for a 1 pm match before a Monday home match with Folsom Lake and a Tuesday rematch with Cosumnes River in Elk Grove.
