Two Tigers Heading for Postseason Play After Final CVC Tournament

October 31, 2017  -  Under perfect weather conditions, with temperatures in the mid-70's, the Tigers played the beautiful Copper River Country Club golf course in northeast Fresno very well!  Leading the way for the Tigers was Hannah Lovering, who posted a round of 76.  Hannah solidified her honor as the Most Valuable Player of the C.V.C. in 2017, securing a stroke average of 72.80 along the way! Monique Torres-Jimenez fired a solid score of 81. Kaitlyn Perez capped the scoring by carding a round of 103.  The Tigers putted well on the Copper River C.C. greens on the afternoon, averaging just over 35 putts per player.  The speed of the greens were fast, and the slopes of the greens made putting very difficult, but the Tigers were able to keep their shots below the hole, and were able to putt aggressively.  Reedley was very satisfied with their effort, but know that they must continue to improve as they get prepared for the post season.  Hannah and Monique will continue their seasons as they advance to the Northern California Regional Championships at Buena Vista Golf Course in Taft next week. Next up is the Post Season, and the Tigers are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to compete for the Regional Championship against the best players from Northern California!  Tee time will be at 10:00 on Monday morning for Round #1 of the Regional Championships.
