Men's Golf Wins Big 8 South Tournament #4 By 19.

Reedley College won its fourth straight Big 8 South Conference tournament Monday afternoon by a margin of 19 strokes over second-place Fresno City College at Merced. Reedley finished with a 382.

Justin Kim (Australia) took individual medalist honors with a round of 74.

Chris Chomyn (Irvine) and Beau Willett (Australia) each followed with a 76 while Tommy O'Rourke (Australia) fired a 77. Hogi Selling (Clovis) was next with a 79 while Noah Kozack (Saskatchewan) finished with a non-scoring round of 80.

"The course played tough today," said Tiger head coach Scott Stark.

Fresno City was next in the team standings with a 401, followed by Monterey Peninsula College at 416 and San Jose City with a 418.

The Tigers will have their only home match of the season next Monday, March 9 when they host the fifth Big 8 South Conference Tournament at the Kings River Golf and Country Club in Kingsburg. Tee-off time is 12 noon.
