Reedley Wins a 3rd CVC Tournament

On a warm, sunny beautiful afternoon in the Central Valley, the Tigers came out and played a very efficient round of team golf at the Kings River Golf & Country Club in Kingsburg.  Reedley posted a team score of 382, 22 shots over par for the five counting scores, and one of the Top 15 team scores in school history at Kings River GCC.  Leading the way was Dylan Otto, who shot a fantastic round of 1 under par 71.  Dylan had 4 Birdies on the day and was the overall tournament Medalist for his great performance! Dylan was the only player under par on the afternoon at the very difficult Kings River GCC layout.  Adam Nelson posted a very solid round of 75, followed by John Karayan, who carded a round of 77.  Morgan Cooper fired a round of 79, and Amardeep Manku completed the scoring for the Tigers with an 80.  The Tigers five scorers were in the top 10 overall for the tournament, and enabled them to come away with victory #3 in the Central Valley Conference by 15 shots over 2nd place Taft College.  The Tigers now have increased their lead in the conference point standings to 2, and have an overall record of 11-1 in the C.V.C.  The win also enabled the Tigers to capture three of the first four tournaments to begin the 2018 conference season!  The Tigers are scheduled to play at Buena Vista Golf Course this Monday for C.V.C. Tournament #5.  Taft will be the host school for this conference tournament.  Tee time is scheduled for 12:00 noon in Taft.
