Men's Basketball Begins CVC Play With Two Wins

With home game wins over West Hills and Taft last week, the Reedley College Tiger men's basketball team finds itself in a three-way tie for first place in the Central. Valley Conference with 2+0 records.
This week, Coach T.J. Jennings' squad (now (8-8 overall) travels to Sonora to Face the Claim Jumpers in a Jan. 15 contest that will be streamed live on the YouTube channel named Bay Area sports TV.

Saturday afternoon Reedley travels to Fresno. The men"s game is set for 5 pm.

On Jan. 15, Reedley makes the short trip to Porter field house on the campus of COS. The Giants defeated the Claim Jumpers by 24 points in the conference opener.


Reedley opened conference play on Jan. 8. Obadiah Curtis netted 30 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists to lead all scorers for Reedley. The Tigers posted a 71-68 Saturday win over the Golden Eagles.

The Reedley men's bench outscored the Eagle bench 10-6. Three of the Tiger points came on a three by Kurt Karle,  Karle, was a key to the Tigers coming back from an earlier 10-point deficit.
