Reedley Wins At Home Over El Camino College

If a team has a winning record and comes to Reedley, they are in trouble.

An 8-2 El Camino squad came to town Saturday afternoon and went back to Torrance at 8-3.

Tiger head coach T.J. Jennings was pleased with how his squad progressed from its previous game and how his team handled the Warriors' comeback attempts.

Reedley has two more games before the start of Valley conference play on January 4th at home with West Hills Lemoore. Tigers head to Redwood City Saturday to face Camada College before entertaining the Bakersfield College Renegades at home on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 1 pm.

Reedley's Josiah James led all scorers with 23 points, 12 in the first half as the Tigers led 35-33 at halftime and 11in the second half. Juelz Fox followed with four three-pointers and 20 points (10 in each half) while Onadiah Harris had 18. Billy Ray Barnes III led El Camino with 18.

The win improved Reedley to 5-7, the sixth-best record in the eight-team conference.

Reedley High graduate Auggie Villarreal got his first start and hit a four-point play to pump up the crowd in the second half.
