Men's Golf break out the big guns and shoot a record breaking team-score of 357 for a home match

Tiger Men's Golf shot an impressive 357 team score beating the field by 36 strokes.  This team score was a golf program record 3 under par for a home match.  Freshman Eliot Vidal was the medalist shooting a 69.  Blake Contente came in 2nd with a 70, and Ricky Sullivan placed 3rd with a 71. All team members scored in the 70's which is a great response to their return to the course after coming in 2nd at the State Preview down in Santa Barbara at Sanpiper where the 3C2A Championships will be held on May 12-13th.

The Tigers have now won all 4 tournaments in the South Division of the Big 8 standings after 6 events, but know that they must continue to improve as they get closer to the grind of the regular season.  The Tigers' record in conference now stands at 12-0, and overall the Tigers are 15-0 overall.  Reedley hold sole posession of 1st place and can clinch a playoff berth with one more Big 8 Conference tournament win. FCC is in 2nd place, San Jose City is in 3rd place, and Taft College is in 4th place.

Keep up the good work Tigers.
