The Lady Tigers lost a close match on Friday 3-2 vs. FCC at home.  After playing to a 0-0 tie at FCC earlier in conference play the Tigers batteled back after going down 2-0 to tie thie return match 2-2 in the 2nd half.  The game was a back and forth affair with both teams creating chances.  In the end, FCC's Kellyann Rodriguez tucked in the winning goal. The Tigers have one final CVC Conference match left next Friday vs. Madera CC.  The Tigers are holding strong in the playoff hunt for NorCal's and will know more after Friday's results.

Meanwhile, the Tiger Football team gave their all in the 44th "Battle for the Pump".  Reedley and Fresno exchanged scores with FCC adding a 2nd touchdown on a 1yd run after an 11-play 78yd drive.  Reedley then tied the game on the final play of the first half when Kevin Fagan returned an interception 95 yards for a score.

The 2nd half proved to be similar to the 1st as City scored early in the 3rd with the Tigers tying for the final time on Nick Osho's 22-yard touchdown catch from Stevenson. A 26-yard field goal by Fresno's Johnny Enriquez with three minutes and 56 seconds remaining gave the Rams the victory in the 63rd meeting on the gridiron between the two State Center Community College District rivals.  The Tigers started the drive and grinded all the way down to fieldgoal territory when an unfortunate fumble on a first-down run by DJ Stevenson happened with a little over a minute left on the clock.  The Tigers played valiantly and never gave up! C'ontae Cason led Reedley with 67 yards in 12 carries while quarterback DJ Stevenson passed for 110 yards completing 12 of 21 attempts.

Overall it was a great game and there are still bowl possibilities for the Tigers.
