Tigers claw back to beat Columbia in five sets!

Reedley College Volleyball was facing elimination against Columbia Wednesday night. They were down two sets and behind 23-15 in set three. Coach Shannon Jefferies called a time out to come up with a game plan. The Tigers rallied back defeating the Claim Jumpers 29-27 in set three. The Tigers continued to win set four by a score of 25-17. The Tigers came out and jumped to an early lead in the fifth set, finally winning it 15-10, The win is the biggest comebacks in Tiger volleyball history. Statistical leaders for the Tigers included Madison Gardner with 21 kills, Beatriz Jimenez had 15. Katelyn Velazquez had 53 assists fo the Tigers. Lupita Sierra had 7 digs. 

 

 

The Tiger's next match is at home September 15th against Porterville.
