Entering her first year as Head Volleyball Coach of Reedley College, Mariah Roby is enthusiastic about the future of the program. Coach Roby comes to us from Chowchilla, CA, where she was a Scholar Athlete and played three years of varsity volleyball. Coach Roby began her collegiate career right here at Reedley College after graduating high school in 2008. She played two years under former Head Coach Shannon Jefferies, to whom she credits much of her knowledge of the game. While at Reedley, Coach Roby was voted Best Offensive player in 2009. She graduated Cum Laude from Reedley College in 2010 and was awarded an athletic scholarship to University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. After graduating with honors in 2012, she was hired as a graduate assistant and coached at UAPB for one season.

Coach Roby returned to Reedley College in 2013 and began coaching under Coach Jefferies. She assisted at Reedley College for three seasons before she was hired at New Mexico Highlands University as the first assistant volleyball coach.

Since returning to California, Coach Roby has coached for Nikao Volleyball Club in Reedley and Carter G. Woodson Charter School in Fresno. She is also in her fifth season as a Head Coach for the Chowchilla Gold Volleyball Club.
