Former Reedley College guard Lili Bevao is going dancing!

Bevao and her Idaho State Bengal teammates defeated the University of Idaho women 84-49 Friday to claim the 2021 Big Sky Conference tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament in San Antonio, Texas. The tournament brackets will be announced on Monday night.

Bevao saw two minutes of action in the championship game and did not post any statistics.

The Bengals finished at 15-2 in the Big Sky and were 22-3 overall.

Bevao played in 30 minutes in nine games this season, making 6 of 9 from the field (3 of 4 on 3-pointers and 2 of 4 from the foul line. She averaged 1.9 points per game. The Bengals were 14-0 at home and had a 14-game winning streak ended on Feb. 13 in a 73-56 loss at the University of Idaho.

Bevao was an all-conference selection for Reedley College before transferring to Idaho State. She played in only nine games this season, playing behind an all-conference player.
