Instead of getting better at the end of the season, the Reedley College Tiger softball team is struggling.

With four games remaining, Reedley suffered their ninth straight loss Saturday afternoon in an 11-0  defeat against the Porterville College Pirates in Reedley. The Tigers travel to Porterville for an April 12 doubleheader before ending the season at home on Tuesday, April 26 with a 1 pm home twin-bill against Merced College.

In addition to the loss to Porterville, the Tigers suffered run-rule 9-1 and 12-3 losses to the College of the Sequoias on April 5 and a 6-0 loss on the road against Taft College.

The losses dropped Reedley to 2-9 in Central Valley Conference action and 8-19 overall.
