The Lady Tiger softball team won two out of three Central Valley Conference games last week. But the one loss dropped Reedley into second place.
Reedley swept a doubleheader over West Hills in Coalinga on March 3 before dropping an 11-1 decision to College of the Sequoias in Reedley on March 5.
Porterville leads the CVC with a 2-0 record and comes to RC for a 1 pm Thursday game. The Tigers host Taft in a 1 pm doubleheader on March 10 before a Saturday trip to Bakersfield for a twinbill with the Renegades at noon and Long Beach at 2 pm.
At West Hills, the Tigers won by scores of 15-3 and 12-0. Amanda Beltran was the winning pitcher in both games, throwing a six-inning one-hitter in the nightcap, facing the minimum 18 batters. She joined Alyssa Lopez with three hits with Lopez knocking in three runs.
