Monday wasn't a holiday for the Reedley College men's golf team.

Coach Scott Stark's Tigers won the third Big 8 South Conference tournament at Buena Vista GC by shooting an outstanding team score of 365.

They won the tournament by finishing 24 strokes ahead of second-place Fresno City. Monterey Peninsula College was third at 398 while San Jose City was fourth at 400. Host Taft only fielded four golfers and did not have a team.

Tying for individual medalist honors were three RC golfers: Tommy O'Rourke, Justin Kim and Hogi Selling, all with even-par rounds of 72. Beau Willett fired a 74 while Matthew Frith had a 75. Noah Kozack had a non-scoring round of 78.

Reedley is back on the course on Monday, Feb. 24 as they play in the Riverside City Invite in Riverside. Tee-off time is 12 noon.
