Men's Golf Opens Up 2020 Season With A First Place Finish

By a margin of 12 strokes, the Reedley College men's golf team won the Point Conception Open at La Purisima GC in Lompoc Sunday and Monday. The 20-team tournament was hosted by Santa Barbara City College.
Reedley has rounds of 378-403-781 to finish ahead of Cypress and Mt. Sac in the team standings.

Individually, Justin Kim took medalist honors for the Tigers by tying for third place with a 73-81-154.

Other Tiger scores included Tom O'Rourke (74-82-156), Beau Willett (77-80-157), Chris Chomyn (74-84-158), Noah Kozack (74-84-158) and Alexander Melrose (87-80-167).

Coach Scott Stark's squad returns to the course Feb. 3 in Fresno for the first Big 8 South tournament.
