15 Tigers Receive Football Postseason Awards

Reedley College goes into Saturday's American Championship Bowl with a long list of Golden Coast all-Conference selections.

Topping the list are Defensive Player of the Year Jay Vance (sophomore, Edison, Fresno) and Coach of the Year Eric Marty.

Sophomore Jamon Chambers (Tacoma, WA) was honored as both an all-purpose player and as a running back. Vance was also named as an all-conference defensive lineman.

Other defensive players honored included: sophomore defensive back Charles Peeples (Atlanta, GA), freshman defensive back Tevin Fordham (Tampa, FL), freshman linebacker Keenan Fyles (Compton), freshman defensive lineman Okiki Olorunfunmi (Clovis North) and freshman defensive back Cameron Lockridge (Tampa, FL).

Other offensive players honored included: sophomore wide receiver Andy Pierre-Antoine (North Miami, FL), sophomore wide receiver River Walker (Jacksonville, FL), sophomore lineman Joshua Reba (Edison, Fresno), sophomore lineman Shamar Dixon (Augusta, GA), sophomore lineman Austin Habich (Monache, Porterville) and sophomore tight end Daniel Baca (Monache, Porterville).

Freshman kicker Jorge Rosales (Arvin) was also a first-team selection.

Kickoff time for the American Championship Bowl is 1 pm at Reedley High School.
