Tiger Baseball Prepares To Finish The 2022 Season.

After splitting two non-conference games with Bakersfield College last week, the Reedley College Tiger baseball team will play four Central Valley Conference games this week.

The Tigers travel to West Hills Coalinga on Tuesday before heading to Porterville College on Thursday. Reedley will finish a March 10 game suspended by darkness in which the Tigers lead 17-12 in the top of the ninth inning.

Really returns home on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. game with the College of the Sequoias before heading to Merced College on Sunday.

The Tigers finish the season with home games with Fresno City College and Taft on April 28 and 29.

With Leo Arreguin getting two solo home runs and Ryan Garza pitching a complete-game five-hitter, the Tigers defeated Bakersfield College 3-9 on April 12. Arreguin added a run-scoring single in the sixth inning after hitting home runs in the second and fourth frames.

In his pitching gem, Garza threw 132 pitches in nine innings of work to improve to 5-3 on the season.

The next day in Bakersfield, Jarrett Brennan's RBI single brought in the tie-breaking run in the Gades' 7-6 over the Tigers.

Orin Hirschkorn, Roman Rosales, and Arrequin all had three hits to lead Reedley's (9-8, 19-14) attack.
