Yesterday the Tigers shot a Team Score of 304 and defeated the other teams in the Big 8 South Division by 86 shots over Fresno City, and by 123 shots over Taft. The Tigers were 1 shot of tying the Program Record at Ridge Creek GC for total team score (303), which was set last season by the defending Conference and Regional Champions in November. The Tigers were very impressive with their Top 4 counting scores: Sarah Randolph 72 (Medalist – 2nd college Victory), Jacie Johnson 76, Tessa Hernandez 76, and Marissa Martin 80. Overall the Tigers have won every tournament this season (5 for 5), and have an overall record of 11-0 on the young season, and a Team Scoring Average of 322.5 (Tops in the State). The Tigers have defeated nearly every team in the state thus far, with the Western States Conference in Southern California being the only teams the Tigers have not faced in 2025. The Top 4 Tigers (Sarah, Tessa, Jacie and Marissa) are all averaging right around 80.00 for the season, and are putting the Tigers in very solid hands as they have been super consistent on courses that they have not ever seen before.
The Tigers remain UNDEFEADTED at 9-0 and continue to improve their scores. Next up on the schedule is another Big 8 South Division Tournament at Copper River CC in Fresno on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. The Fresno City Rams are the host school for the event.
Go TIGERS!!!
