Women's Golf Crowned NorCal Champs and Head to State Championships at Monarch Dunes

The Reedley Tigers Women's Golf Team are the 2024 3C2A NorCal Regional Champions!  Shooting a score of 615 over two days (308-307) and 24 shots ahead of 2nd place Modesto JC the Tigers made a solid statement ahead of the 3C2A State Championship tournament which will be held Nov. 17 & 18th at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo, CA. 

Maya Promwongsa was 2nd overall and Ethel Asequia finished 5th.  Both golfers were selected to the 1st Team All Northern California Regional Team. This marks the fourth Regional Championship for the Tigers Women's Golf Program.  As Big 8 Champs as well the Tigers will be among the favorites to challenge for the title. 

The Tigers have been steady all season long and have posted consistent team scores resulting in no worse than 2nd place in all tournaments.  Coach Stark stated, "I'm so excited for the girls and think they have a really good chance this year!".  The Tigers are returning to the 3C2A State Championship after placing 3rd last year in a "card-off" just nudging out Modesto JC.  Hopefully they can bring home the hardware.  We'll all be pulling for them.
