Instead of traveling to face two other schools in a triangular match, Reedley College will host Bakersfield and Cerro Coso colleges in their own tri tournament on Saturday.
It is believed that this in the first tournament hosted by the Tigers since 1986.
Before the Tigers host their own tournament, they are scheduled to travel to Elk Grove today (Sept. 11) to face Cosumnes River and Modesto in the CRC tournament.
Reedley (2-4) will face 10th ranked Bakersfield (4-4) in the opening match at noon before the Renegades face Cerro Coso (0-3) at 2pm. Reedley faces Cerro Coso in the final match at 4pm.
Tiger head coach Jennifer Uresti hopes to make the tournament a showcase for area high school teams.
