Aurelie Bevao Named To 2020-21 Academic All-State Team

Former Reedley College basketball star Aurelie Bevao has played in four of the 13 games played by the 13-1 Idaho State University women's basketball team this season.

The most recent win was a 62-54 triumph over Grand Canyon in Phoenix on Friday.

Bevao, originally from Reunion, France, scored six points in 10 minutes in the Nov. 28 season opener over Utah State before netting two points in a win over Weber State on Jan. 2.

She recorded a blocked shot in her last action on Jan. 14 against Sacramento State and had her only missed shot of the season against Northern Colorado on Dec. 16.

She is 3 of 4 from the floor overall but has not attempted a 3 point shot.

Idaho State returns to action at home Friday against Northwest Nazarene.

 Bevao, listed on the Idaho State roster as Lili, was an all Central Valley Conference selection at Reedley last season, averaged 15.6 points per game.

In the classroom, she was recently named to the 2020-21 California Community College Basketball Coaches Association All-state team, finishing with a 3.91 grade point average.
