Men's Basketball Prepares For 2021-22

When last on the court, Reedley College men's basketball team posted 16 wins in a season Coach TJ Jennings and his 2021-22 squad begins the new season on Thursday in the Chabot College Classic tournament against Feather River College at 6 pm.

Four sophomores and several talented freshmen make up the tiger roster. Guard Anthony Martinez (Clovis) leads the squad after averaging 11.9 points per game as a freshman. Other returning players include 65 Carlos Fuentes (Clovis East),  6-9 Jonathan Marks (Buchanan), and 6-5 Dwayne Howell (Hoover).

Among the talented freshmen on the roster include 6-6 Jamar Bowers (Hoover), 6-2 Ty Penberthy, 6-2 Makai Turner (Stockton), 6-5, Juelz Fox (Lemoore), and 6-2 Josiah James (Hanford West).

Other Tigers on the roster include Kelly Few (Edison, Fresno), Garrett Beegan (Portsmith, OH), Tommy Newton (Clovis East), Hakeem Primes (Madera South), Justin Parks (Bullard), and Mitchell Uriarte (Fowler).

After a Tuesday, Nov. 9 game at Ohlone College in Fremont, the Tigers open their home schedule on Nov. 20 with Canada College. Masks are required in all indoor facilities.
