Reedley College has released the 2023 football schedule. All games this season will be at Reedley HS now that their stadium renovation is complete.
The 2023 schedule features the exact same teams and order of the 2022 slate, which had the Tigers split with a record of 5-5, 2-3 in conference action.
The 2023 season begins on Sept. 2 with a 1pm home game against Shasta College. On the road last year, Reedley recorded a 47-28 victory. Reedley goes to Hayward to face Chabot in week two as a 35-14 win was part of a 2-8 season for the Gladiators. Kickoff time is set for 6pm.
Things are expected to be a little tougher in week three (Sept. 16) as Sierra College hosts the Tigers in Rocklin at 5 pm. Last year in Orange Cove, the Tigers downed the Wolverines 16-10.
Diablo Valley comes to Reedley on Sept. 23 for a 1 pm contest. Last year, the 7-4 Diablo Valley squad pulled out a 28-25 win.
The final non-conference game is at Santa Rosa at 5 pm on Sept. 30. Last year, the Tigers defeated the Bear Cubs 23-13.
After a bye on Oct. 7, Reedley begins conference play on Oct. 14 at Contra costa at 1 pm. Last year, Reedley lost in double overtime 22-14.
College of the Sequoias comes to Reedley on 0ct. 21 for a 2pm matchup. Last year, the Tigers came from behind for an exciting 25-22 win.
The next to last regular season home game is set for Oct. 28 against Modesto at 1 pm. In 2022, the Pirates won 21-6.
The Battle for the Pump returns to Ratcliffe Stadium on Nov. 4 at pm. Last year, the Rams came away with a 55-20 win.
The regular season ends in Reedley on Nov. 11 against the Sacramento City College Panthers at 1 pm. Last year, the Tigers came away with a 20-14 win.
