Tiger Football Players Earn All Conference Honors

Eight different Tigers were honored as all-conference players in the Valley League the California Community College Athletic Association.


First-team all-conference selections from Reedley College included quarterback Joshua Magana (Dinuba) wide receivers Antwan Ficklen (Dexter, MI) and Shamar Kirk ( Nashville, TN), defensive end Michael Jordan (Monrovia), and defensive back Denon Fagan (Mira Mesa, CA). Honorable mention choices were Shemar Hawkins (Gilbert, AZ), linebacker Kanye Young Menifee, CA) and sophomore defensive lineman Damascus Thompson (Corcoran),.


Magana led the conference in passing and also had a game-winning touchdown pass to Ficklen in a win over College of the Sequoias. It was one of 19 touchdown passes on the season for Magana, Kirk led Tiger receivers with 45 receptions for 782 yards and eight touchdowns. Ficklen caught 40 passes for 648 yards and eight touchdowns,
Hawkins led Reedley with 74 tackles, six ahead of Young,


The 2022 Tigers finished at 5-5 and were in the Junior College Athletic Bureau top 20 for much of the season. They were tied for fourth place in the conference.
