Tiger Softball logs a solid performance vs. Feather River

Tiger Softball put it two solid performances on Friday beating Feather River College 5-2 in game one and 4-0 in game two.

In game one, Alexis Wright was the winning pitcher moving to 2-1 overall and she had two hits and two RBI's.  Sophomore rightfielder Alyssa Everk led the team with three hits, two stolen bases, and scored twice for the Tigers. Anahi Castillo, Celine Ramos, and Abigelle Buchanan also contributed with a hit each and an RBI for Castillo and Buchanan.

In game two, Trinity Sanchez (1-0) pitched a full game and had 4 strike outs, 4 walks, and gave up 4 hits.  Her defense helped her out with good fielding and completed the shutout.  On offense Sanchez also led the team with 1 hit and 2 RBI's. Alexis Wright produced a hit and an RBI.  Hailee Zapien led the team in hits with two and a stolen base. 

"Overall it was a good performance by our girls, especially after coming of a series loss vs. CRC", said coach Nomura.  

The Tigers move to 5-4 overall and will face Fresno City College at home this Thursday, Feb. 29th at 2pm for a single game.
