CVC Tournament #10 Results

The Tigers played Central Valley Conference Tournament #10 at North Kern Golf Course in Bakersfield, and came away with a team score of 338.  The weather conditions were warm, with temperatures in the 80's, and there was a little wind, which is very normal for the southern part of the Valley this time of year. The greens were not in very good shape, though, and the Tigers putted very poorly on this afternoon.  The Tigers finished the tournament in 2nd place, their only loss in the C.V.C. this season.  Leading the way for the Tigers was Serena DiMauro, who posted a solid round of 75 (+3).  Maddie Caesar had a tough day on the course, shooting a round of 85.  Lauren Costa, Carley Lindlahr, and Eliza Hernandez all posted rounds of 89 to cap the scoring for the Tigers. The 2nd place finish left the Tigers with a record of 19-1 in the CVC.  The Tigers are in 1st place in the conference standings, though, maintaining a lead over Fresno City College by 8 points with 2 tournaments remaining.  Next up for the Tigers will be a tournament on Thursday at Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno.  The Fresno City College Rams will be the host for this C.V.C. Tournament.  Tee time is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
