TIgers Take First Again

-  On a sunny and beautiful afternoon in the Kern County city of Taft, with terrific views of the western mountain ranges and temperatures in the mid 90's, the Tigers finished 1st in a Central Valley Conference tournament hosted by rival Taft College.  Reedley posted a solid team score of 345, and finished 12 shots ahead of Fresno City College on the afternoon.  Leading the way was Freshman Maddie Caesar, who shot a season best round of 75, which was the 2nd best score of the day. Serena DiMauro carded a good round of 84, Lauren Costa turned in a round of 87, and Carley Lindlahr and Eliza Hernandez tied for the 4th and final score as they each posted 95's to finalize the scoring for the Tigers. The Tigers came away with another 4 points in the Central Valley Conference standings, and are now in solo 1st place in the overall team standings by 3 points ahead of FCC after 3 tournaments.  The Tigers now have a record of 6-0 in the C.V.C.  The Tigers are showing improvements early in the young season, and are looking to increase their standing in the C.V.C.  The next tournament for the Tigers in conference is scheduled for Lemoore Golf Course in Lemoore on Thursday.  Reedley College is the host school for this neutral conference tournament.  Tee time is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
