Men's Tennis Shuts Out Mission In 2020 Home Opener

Reedley College's men's tennis team opened the 2020 season with three matches in three days. Head Coach Ross Garner's Tigers won two of them.
The Tigers started the season Thursday with an 8-1 win in Bakersfield before an 8-1 loss in Hayward to Chabot on Friday. They rebounded with a 9-0 win over Mission at home on Saturday.
The Tiger women, coached by Kim Locklin, dropped an 8-1 decision at Bakersfield on Thursday before a 7-2 loss to Chabot on Friday.

The Tiger men won five of the six singles matches on Thursday with Jared Hang, Seth Herrera, Aaron Macogba, Julian Barragan, and Fidel Felix recording victories.

Reedley swept the doubles matches. Hang and Herrera posted an 8-0 win while Dawson Javaux and Macogba winning 8-2. Barragan and Felix posted an 8-4 win.

The Reedley men are back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Modesto while both teams compete at the Modesto Tournament on Feb. 7-8.
