Men's Golf Wins Big In Big 8 South Tournament #1

Reedley College's men's golf team dominated the first Big 8 South Tournament of 2020 at the Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno on Monday.

Coach Scott Stark's Tigers had the top five scores of the day as the Tigers won by 39 strokes over San Jose City College and 48 strokes ahead of Fresno City College with a team score of 361.

Noah Kozack (Regina, Saskatchewan) led the way with a round of 70. Tommy O'Rourke (Canberra, AUS) and Beau Willett (Toukley, AUS) followed with a 72 while Justin Kim (Marsden Park, AUS) fired a 73. Chris Chomyn (Irvine) finished with a 74 while Jarred Hernandez (Visalia) had a non-scoring 87.

The Tigers travel to Whittier on Wednesday, Feb. 5 to compete in the Orange Empire Classic, hosted by Cypress College before competing in the second Big 8 South tournament in Stockton on Monday, Feb. 10.
