Men's Basketball Loses To Solano

Both non-league losses for the Reedley College men's basketball Tigers have come on their home court.

Solano College led from start to finish on the way to a 92-84 non-conference victory over the Tigers last Wednesday night at Reedley's Paul Mitchell Court. The loss dropped Coach T.J. Jennings' squad to 6-2 on the season.

Every time the Tigers would cut into the lead, the Falcons would battle back. It didn't help that the Tigers' top two scorers, Hassan Bolden and Uriel Carter, would get in foul trouble and eventually foul out of the contest.

Carter led all scorers with 29 points while Bolden followed with 25 points and 14 rebounds. No other Tiger finished in double figures.

The Tigers return to the court on Thursday at 1 pm against Napa Valley in the 42nd annual James Clark Invitational in Sacramento. The tournament honors the longtime Cosumnes River College coach.
