Reedley Baseball Wraps Up 2022 With A Win Over Taft.

A fourth-place finish and an overall record of 24-16 was not good enough to push the Reedley College Tiger baseball team into the 2022 Northern California Regional baseball playoffs.
The Tigers of head coach Steve Pearce finished one game out of the playoff picture, finishing behind Fresno City, Merced, and the College of the Sequoias with a 14-10 Conference record after last week's 11-9, 10-inning loss to Fresno City College on April 28 and a 12-3 win over Taft the next day. Both games were played at home.
Against Taft, Ryan Garza allowed one run on three hits over five innings to improve to
7-4 on the season. Offensively, Roman Rosales had three hits and scored twice while Leo Arrequin and Nilen Peoples drove in two runs. Arrequin hit his team-leading seventh home run in the fourth inning to give Reedley a 6-0 lead.
Against Fresno city, the Tigers battle back from a six-nothing deficit to tie the game in the ninth-inning. But Riley Likens, who had four hits in the game, drove in a run with a 10th inning trip to decide the game.
Koby Kropf had four singles for Reedley while Arrequin hit a second-inning home run to start the comeback.
