Women's Soccer Enters Postseason

Reedley College will make its first appearance in the California Community College Athletic Association Northern California women's soccer regionals on Thursday afternoon at Solano College in Fairfield.

Head Coach Onesta Francis' Lady Tigers were seeded 17th in Northern California after recording a season record of 8-8-3 and a conference record of 2-6-2, good for fifth place.

Solano finished second in the Bay Valley Conference with a 12-1-1 record. The Falcons finished the season with a five-match winning streak and are 13-5-3 overall. Solano is the 15th seed.

The Thursday winner will go on the road to face second-seeded San Joaquin Delta in Stockton on Saturday.

Other Central Valley Conference teams to reach the regionals were third-seeded Fresno City, fifth-seeded Clovis, 10th seeded Taft and 15th seeded West Hills Lemoore.
