For the second straight year, the Reedley College women's golf team has won the Jan High Memorial Tournament in Sacramento.

Head Coach Scott Stark's Lady Tigers won the tournament on Oct. 8 in the Modified Stableford scoring system. "We won by 18 points," said Stark, "with a school-record score of 134. It was the first time with four girls in the 30's."

Freshman Monica Yu (San Diego) took individual medalist honors with 39 points. Alyssa Bendure (Clovis North) and Mya Chao (Golden West, Visalia) both made the all-tournament team with 32 points while Serena DiMauro (Central, Fresno) was right behind with 31 points.

Other Reedley scores included Serena Garcia (Dinuba) with 24 points, McKenzie Quinn (Clovis East)  with 17 points and Nikki McArron (Immanuel) with 14  points.

"The girls played really well," added Stark.

Reedley will take it's perfect record into Thursday's fifth Big 8 Conference tournament in Turlock before the team's final home match, the sixth conference tournament at the Kings River Golf and Country Club in Kingsburg, on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
