Tiger Golf Dominates at Jan High Memorial Golf Tournament

The Tigers played in the 13th annual Jan High Memorial Invitational at Bing Maloney Golf Club in Sacramento, hosted by Sac City College, and played under the guidelines of a Modified Stableford Rules Scoring System.  The weather was warm and sunny, with temperatures in the low 80's, and there was very little wind in the State's capital city.  The Tigers finished in 1ST Place out of the 8 teams in the tournament, scoring a team total of 125 points, and recording a victory at this tournament for the 2nd time in the past 4 years!  Leading the way for Reedley College was Serena DiMauro, who accumulated a tournament third best point total of 35. Maddie Caesar had a very solid afternoon and totaled 32 points for the Tigers, finishing in 4th place.  Lauren Costa and Carley Lindlahr both accumulated 29 points for the Tigers, finishing in a tied for fifth place on the afternoon.  All 4 Tiger golfers finished in the Top 6 overall and were named to the All-Tournament team for their efforts on the day, also a first and a significant accomplishment for the Tiger golf program.  The Tigers are presently in 1st place in the C.V.C. over Fresno City College, having accumulated 32 points on the season, 8 points ahead of the Rams.  Next up for the Reedley team will be C.V.C. Tournament #9 at Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno.  Tee time is scheduled for 12:00 noon at the Rams' neutral site venue.
