Tigers Shoot Season Best 315, Win Another Tournament

On a warm and beautiful afternoon in Bakersfield, the Tigers came out and played a very solid round of team golf at North Kern Golf Course for C.V.C. Tournament #7, a neutral site selected by Taft College.  Reedley posted a season-best team score of 315, 10 shots ahead of 2nd place Fresno City College.  Leading the way was the duo of Serena DiMauro and Maddie Caesar, who both shot impressive 1 under par rounds of 71. Maddie and Serena both finished in 2nd place among the individual players for the afternoon.  Eliza Hernandez shot a very solid 85, her best score of the season!  Carley Lindlahr rounded out the scoring for the Tiger by posting a fine round of 88.  The 1st place finish enabled the Tigers to come away with 4 points in the Central Valley Conference standings and solidified their 1st place spot ahead of Fresno City College.  The Tigers now have accumulated 28 points, and have an overall record of 14-0 in the C.V.C.  The Tigers are looking to improve on their position in the C.V.C. with 5 regular season tournaments left.  The next tournament for the Tigers is a home contest scheduled for Kings River Golf & Country Club on Thursday.  Tee time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in the beautiful town of Kingsburg.
