Tigers Win Another CVC Tournament

On a warm, sunny and beautiful afternoon in the south Valley town of Taft, the Tigers played a good round of team golf at Buena Vista Golf Course, a tricky and hilly course with a good deal of tough conditions and difficult greens.  Reedley posted a team score of 348, 10 shots ahead of 2nd place Fresno City, which shot a very good team score for the 2018 season.  Leading the way was Serena DiMauro, who shot a round of 78.  Maddie Caesar posted a solid round of 82.  Lauren Costa and Carley Lindlahr both fired strong rounds of 94, as well as Kaitlyn Perez, who carded a season best round of 94 playing as an Individual on the day. The Tigers came away with 4 points in the Central Valley Conference, and have secured a sole 1st place finish ahead of Fresno City College for the season!  The Tigers now have a record of 12-0 in the C.V.C., and are looking to improve upon their overall seasonal record next week.  The next tournament for the Tigers is another Central Valley Conference match at North Kern Golf Course in Bakersfield on Tuesday.   A shotgun start is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
