Men's Golf WIns Dual At Napa College

Dealing with perfect weather conditions, with temperatures in the mid-80's and slight breezes throughout the day, the Tigers battled the tough Silverado Resort North Course and shot a good team score of 381.  The greens at Silverado Resort had been punched about 2 weeks ago so the putting surfaces were sticky and bumpy, making putting very difficult on the day.  The Tigers were able to win the tournament by 40 shots over the host school, Napa Valley College.  Leading the way for the Tigers was Morgan Cooper, who shot a terrific 69 (-3) and was the overall medalist on the afternoon.  Bailey Flickinger posted a 76, finishing with the 2nd best score of the day. Beau Willett came in with 77. Dylan Otto fired a 79, and Xavier Coreno posted an 80, demonstrating once again the Tigers depth throughout the entire line-up.  Reedley was not satisfied with their effort, and know that they must keep improving as they get closer to the end of the regular season.  The victory enables the Tigers to extend their undefeated season another tournament and their record now stands at 40-0.  Overall the Tigers have now won 14 tournaments on the season.  Reedley only has one more week left in the regular season.  Next up on the schedule is a road trip to Stockton Golf & Country Club to play in the Van Sweet Invitational.  S.J. Delta College will be the host school.  The entire Northern California region will be playing in this final regular season tournament.  A shotgun start is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Monday.
