On a cool, sunny and calm afternoon in the South Valley town of Taft, the Tigers came out and played a very efficient round of team golf at Buena Vista Golf Course.  Reedley posted a very competitive team score of 375, 15 shots over par for the five counting scores (all in the 70's), but came up 5 shots short to the home team, Taft College.  Leading the way was Sophomore Amar Manku, who shot a tournament 2^nd best round of 1 under par 71.  Adam Nelson posted a solid round of 75. Calvin Mitchell and Dylan Otto both fired rounds of 76, and Morgan Cooper rounded out the scoring by carding a round of 77.  The Tigers five scorers were in the top 10 overall for the tournament. The Tigers and Cougars are now tied for 1^st place after two tournaments in the CV.C.  The Tigers now have an overall record of 5-1 in the C.V.C.  The Tigers had a very solid week, playing well at both Sunnyside and Buena Vista, and have shown great improvement since the beginning of the season!  Next up on the Tigers' schedule is a Southern California trip to Riverside to compete in the RCC Tiger Invitational at The Victoria Club on Monday.  15 teams will be participating in the large invite.  Reedley College will be the only Northern California team in the event.  Tee time is slated for 11:00 am.
