Men's Basketball Wins Over West Hills Lemoore

After a disappointing three-point loss at home to Porterville Wednesday night, the Reedley College Tiger men's basketball team came up with a team effort on Saturday night in Lemoore.

Six players scored in double figures in the win over West Hills Lemoore while another finished with nine points. Hassan Bolden and Uriah Carter both had 15 points with Bolden getting 11 rebounds and Carter had seven boards. Carlos Fuentes was 6-of-7 from the floor for 12 points while Anthony Martinez had 11. Richard Corona and Anthony Vallin each had two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points. Braxton Hicks had nine points on three treys.

Bolden came off the bench to score 22 against Porterville while Corona had 19.

"Saturday was an overall great team performance and bounce back big victory," said Coach T.J. Jennings. "Every person on the roster scored and six and eight scored double figures. We shared the ball well and played at the pace and tempo we wanted. The 26-point victory was our largest of the season.

These last six games are very important as we are fighting for a playoff berth. Now's the time to lock in and keep pushing towards the finish line."
