Linebacker Artis Johnson transferred from Reedley to Marshall University in the spring. He has been an immediate contributor for the Thundering Herd defense with 31 tackles, 5.5 TFL's, & 1.5 sacks. Marshall is currently in first place in Conference USA east with a 5-1 record.
Marshall plays Middle Tennessee Friday at 4:00 Pacific Time on ESPN2.
