Reedley was victorious in their season opener against Laney College Friday. The final score was 5-2. Reedley sophomore pitcher Evan Sagariballa was credited with the win. He threw six innings, giving up two runs on seven hits. Sophomore Alec Akins earned the save. Freshman Josh Mares hit the first home run for the Tigers in the first inning of the game.  

The Tigers will play Sierra College tomorrow. The first pitch is scheduled for noon at Laney College.
