Brenna Orchard (sophomore) competed in individual Open Horsemanship at the IHSA National Championship in North Carolina last weekend. She rode against riders from colleges all over the country, including Ohio State, West Texas A&M and Middle Tennessee State University, to name a few. Brenna had a great ride earning her 10th place securing a Top Ten finish for Reedley College for the second time on the national stage (Jordan Miles 2019 8th place High Point Rider). This was the first time however Reedley has made it to nationals for an individual event and Top-Ten accolade in an individual class. Brenna is a great rider, teammate and student. Coach Molyneux said, "It was a pleasure to travel with Brenna and watch her show among the elite athletes at this event. She has been training hard for months and her hard work paid off in the show ring....I'm so proud of her!". This is not only an honor for Brenna but for the entire Equestrian team and college in general. This was a truly amazing showing. If you see Brenna on campus please congratulate her, this is a huge accomplishment. Well Done Brenna!!
